the past few days have been pretty uneventful
just the usual business at the campsite, have been busy designing the adverts to put in the best of malawi brochure that will be sent out to england and america which should generate alot of business for the campsite.
i am currently in lilongwue, arrived a few hours ago about 4 hours later than i expected, still not used to malawian transport they crammed as many people as possible into this minibus and we sat like sardines for 7 hours they of course where used to it but i was aching like hell after 3. we stopped for a toilet break at one point because the kids needed to go and because no one could move the parents passed the kids sort of crowd surfing style down the bus to the bus conductorhe carriewd them off i think he had 2 on his hips 2 slung over his shoulder and one was walking he threw each to a bush and when they were down chucked them back on the bus and the were passed to the relavent parent, someone tried to pass it to me at one point i dont know why because the parent was at the other end of the bus i was like its not my kid hoesntly. finally got to lilongwue and met with steve at about 4 o clock having left makwawa at 7 this morning, we discussed my ideas for various advertising strtegies and was very impressed with my designs and the work i was doing so im obviously doing something right i think. i am going to stay in lilongwue for a few days because although i love makwawa i live at work and basically you never get a rest from it because there are always campsite issues coming up so your always working even on your supposed day off so i decided to take a few days up in lilongwue and have a break and have some food other than nsima.
